Search Systems
The five search systems included in Gold Legend device include the following:
1 – Long range scanning system
2 – Free mode system
3 – Smart Depth System
4 – ionic system
5 – Bionic system
The search system can be easily selected from the main menu, and here are the detailed options for each system.
1 – Long range system
The long-range search system was developed with a unique new technology to ensure the detection of deep metal objects and buried treasures from long distances with customized search options such as soil, target type, and scanning field to obtain correct and more reliable results.
The long-range operating system in Gold Legend depends on generating radio frequencies and transmitting them through the two antennas installed in the front of the main unit. When the radio frequencies generated by the device reach the potential target, the device begins to rotate towards the target around the handle.
Before starting the search the user has to select a few options including:
the soil
It is the type of soil in which potential targets are searched.
The user can select one of the following types:
Highly mineralized – low mineralized – normal – rocky – sandy – stony – wet
target type
Determines the type of target that the user wants to search for in the surrounding area. Determining the target type helps to get the best results because it focuses the search on a specific target type.
The device is equipped with programs to detect 11 types of pre-set targets, including:
Bronze – voids – copper – diamonds – precious stones – raw gold
Treasures of gold – veins of gold – iron – platinum – silver
distance
It is a value that expresses the search distance for targets in the search direction or the radius of the long-range scanning circle, and a value can be chosen within the range between 0 to 3000 meters
depth
This value specifies the search depth range at which targets can be searched.
Users can set accurate values in the range: of 0-40 meters .
After adjusting the previous settings, the search screen appears, which includes visual indicators that help the user. The screen includes the following items:
Balance indicator: This indicator shows the balance of the device relative to the horizon, for the best result this indicator should be placed on the green mark.
Search Screen: This page shows the frequency search process by animation of a green circle of varying diameters.
Selected Target: Displays the target type defined in the system.
2 – Free mode system
Gold Legend free mode system is similar to the operating principle of a long range system and is based on generating and transmitting radio frequencies through two antennas.
The difference here from the previous system is that it is possible to specify an exact value of the search frequency to match a specific type of metal for more accuracy or to search for specific targets.
Before starting the search the user has to select a few options including:
Search frequency
It is the value of the search frequency generated by Gold Legend device and transmitted through the antennas, and the user can set the value accurately within a range of values in one megahertz
Soil – distance – depth
The previous values are set similarly as in a long-range system
After adjusting the previous settings, the search screen appears, which includes visual indicators that help the user. The screen includes the following items:
Balance indicator: This indicator shows the balance of Gold Legend device relative to the horizon, for the best result this indicator should be placed on the green mark.
Search Screen: Displays the frequency search process by the animation of a green circle of varying diameters.
Frequency Value: Displays the specified frequency value
3 – Smart Depth System
The smart depth system is a unique system through which the depth of targets buried underground can be calculated with an accurate approximation using a specific method that includes movement starting from the location of the potential target and in two different directions and waiting until the antennas move more than 70 degrees each time, then the device estimates the value of the depth of the potential target based on that.
Note: The position of the target is determined by the squaring method, which involves drawing a small square with the target within its center. This square is obtained by searching through the four-way long-range search system and setting an imaginary line each time to form this square.
4 – Ionic System
The ionic search system in Gold Legend device has been developed according to a completely new technology, which is the first of its kind in metal detectors and represents a great improvement over the traditional system that existed before.
The new technology allows for more accurate detection of ionic fields resulting from metallic targets buried underground, ensuring accurate signal reception and processing.
The ionic fields emanating from potential targets are searched through the smart sensor, which is a search probe specially developed with new technology for accurate searching and installed in a special port on the front side of the main unit of the device.
The sensor on top includes LEDs that change the color of their light according to the nature of the detected target.
When selecting the ionic system, the search screen displays two progress bars, the first at the top, which reflects the signal strength coming from a metallic target such as gold or iron.
The bottom progress bar expresses the signal strength generated by an underground void such as a tunnel, tomb, or cellar.
The displayed values are percentage values and are related to the distance from the target, its size, and the surrounding environment.
5 – Bionic system
The bionic system in Gold Legend works in a similar way to the ionic system, but the difference here is that here ionic signals are captured from a specific metal object, for example from a gold coin, then the search is directed towards capturing ionic signals similar to metal objects buried underground within the surrounding area.
This means that in the ionic search system, the search is random and free, but in the bionic system the search is directed according to a specific target type based on predefined signals.
The type of metal to be searched for is determined in the surrounding area by directing the smart sensor toward a sample of the metal to be searched for, for example, a silver coin or a piece of gold.
The search screen, in the case of searching by means of the Bionic system, displays a circular indicator that changes in green, and when the target signal is captured, the indicator turns red with an accompanying audio tone via the device’s built-in speaker.
